During March 26-29, 2011, Samui and the surrounding islands were hit by heavy rain storms and flooding but have now returned to normal and ???Samui Clean Up Day?? is the latest co-operated activity between government sectors, local business and communities to join forces in a major clean-up of Koh Samui after the recent storms and flood situation. The event took place on April 24th at Chaweng Lake, located in the north-east of Koh Samui.

TAT will also invite the affected private tourism sectors to attend its trade show without charge at ???Mahadsajun Tiew Muang Thai?? held 26 ??? 29 May at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, and will hold ???Amazing Thailand Grand Sale?? for the first time on Koh Samui between 15 June ??? 31 August 2011.
