Bangkok’s New Tourist Attraction – Asiatique The Riverfront

Located on Chareonkrung Road in downtown Bangkok, Asiatique The Riverfront is a new landmark for Bangkok’s travel and entertainment scene. This place was once the first pier of Thailand (Port of East Asiatic) where people were trading with international countries in the period of King Rama V.

Asiatique The Riverfront consists of four uniquely themed zones by the Chao Phraya River :

A themed zone called Charoenkrung district features over 1,500 souvenir shops, home decoration stores and fashions and accessories shops , two theaters with 400 seats each that will be the new home-bases for the Joe Louis Theatre puppet show and trans gender Calypso Cabaret;

Town Square district covers 2,000 sq metres of outdoor area providing an international food circus zone that offers a sumptous selection to temp your taste buds.

Factory district is home to over 500 stores catering for all tastes and lifestyles that bring sweet nostalgic remembrance of the easy way of life of the yesteryears.

Waterfront district features dining on their boardwalk with options such as Italian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and seafood with a floating historic museum.

Free ferry service from 04.00pm – 23.30pm daily (Sathorn Pier)
Take BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin station. Exit 1
