Breakfast: Soy milk & Pa Thong Ko – Thai doughnuts / Doughnuts (Ruen Pae Amphawa Homestay)
I stayed there for three nights (16 – 19 March 2012) last week and the experience was great, which I highly recommend! One can browse through the shops peacefully and eat your heart out without worrying about getting back to Bangkok late at night. My room has a wooden balcony offers a bird’s eye view of all the activities on the canal below.

The Amphawa Floating Market is one if of the seven wonders of Thailand and the market is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It seems like Saturday is the best day to visit where all the shops, restaurants and cafes along the canal are fully open. For those who love clubbing, Amphawa HaHae, the most popular Amphawa’s pub is just a few doors away.
