If you are looking for books on traditional Thai massage, take a Chao Phraya River ferry from Sathorn Pier to Tha Tien Pier and walk out to Maharat Road. “Wat Pho”, (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha) also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage is located on Maharat Road.There are many small old shophouses around the temple selling many kinds of Thai herbal products such as alternative medicine, herbal ball, Thai balm, aroma massage oil, books on Thai massage etc.
